Dr. Fazal Ullah Seerat, Afghanistan’s Health Attaché in Turkey, attended the International Health Tourism Conference in Antalya
The international conference held in Antalya aimed to promote health diplomacy, medical tourism, investment, academic cooperation, and strengthen international relations. It brought together ambassadors and health attachés from various countries, along with healthcare professionals, academics, investors, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.
During his remarks, Dr. Fazal Ullah Seerat highlighted Afghanistan’s health sector, including its situation, capacities, and opportunities. He stressed the importance of sharing international experience, building professional capacity, expanding joint health programs, and strengthening academic cooperation. He added that stronger international cooperation is key to improving healthcare quality, enhancing workforce capacity, and promoting innovation in the health sector.
During the specialized sessions of the conference, Dr. Fazal Ullah Seerat and representatives from other countries discussed opportunities for joint programs and future cooperation, and exchanged views on expanding collaboration and sharing healthcare experience.
