Fifteen Illegal Health Facilities Closed in Nangarhar Following MoPH Inspections

In Nangarhar Province, five illegally operating clinics, one laboratory, one health products outlet, and eight pharmacies operating in the name of charity were closed for violating health regulations and operating without qualified professional staff.

The Nangarhar Provincial Public Health Directorate’s monitoring and inspection officials conducted inspections of several health facilities in Jalalabad city and Behsud District. As a result, 15 facilities were closed for violating health regulations and operating without qualified professional staff. In addition, 25 kilograms of expired and substandard medicines were confiscated and transferred to a designated site for disposal.
