Inspection of Private Health Sectors in Konar Province
The Kunar Provincial Public Health Department collected and destroyed 7,815 kilograms of expired and substandard medicines, food products, and non-alcoholic beverages, valued at over one million Afghanis.
The medicines, food items, and non-alcoholic beverages collected from the private medical and non-medical sectors by the Kunar Public Health Department’s Monitoring and Inspection Directorate, the Food and Drug Directorate, and the Joint Commission—valued at a total of 1,124,082 Afghanis—were destroyed in the presence of a joint delegation.
