During this diplomatic engagement, discussions revolved around several key topics, including the refurbishment of the Jumhoriyat Hospital, the advancement of Afghan medical professionals' skills, investments in the healthcare sector, strategic measures for mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and polio, and the strengthening of bilateral coordination between the two nations.

His Excellency, Dr Qalandar Ebad, underscored the paramount importance of Afghanistan-China relations and advocated for mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Furthermore, His Excellency Dr Qalandar Ebad emphasized the necessity of China's participation in reconstruction efforts aimed at fortifying Afghanistan's healthcare infrastructure, with the aim of enhancing the capabilities of Afghan healthcare personnel.

Mr. Zhao Sheng, China's Ambassador to Afghanistan, reiterated the necessity of bilateral cooperation between the two nations and expressed his unwavering commitment to fostering collaboration in the healthcare sector.
