Minister Of Public Health Meets with officials from (UNHCR)

The Minister of Public Health for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Dr Qalandar Ebad, convened a meeting with officials from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) at his office.

 

Present at the gathering was a joint delegation, led by Leonard Zulu.

Extending a warm welcome, Minister Ebad affirmed the Ministry's readiness to address the healthcare needs of returning refugees and sought collaboration from the International Organization for Migration.

Discussions encompassed not only fostering cooperation in this domain but also the establishment of healthcare facilities and centers tailored to the needs of returning refugees.

His Excellency Ebad expressed gratitude to the UNHCR for its ongoing assistance in refugee repatriation efforts and advocated for increased support in bolstering healthcare provisions.
