Ministry of Public Health Appoints Oversight Committee to Regulate Foreign and Local Healthcare Personnel

The Ministry of Public Health has appointed an authorized committee to regulate the presence and activities of foreign and local doctors and healthcare workers in the country’s private medical centers.

The committee, chaired by Dr. Faqir Muhammad Ziyar, the Chief of the Medical Council of the Ministry of Public Health, has been tasked with reviewing the educational certificates, licenses, and residency permits of foreign and local doctors, nurses, and other healthcare personnel.

In cases of violations, the committee will initiate legal measures.

During the initial monitoring process conducted by the committee, inspections were carried out in Star, Ariana, and Khan hospitals. The committee officials issued necessary recommendations to these centers for obtaining official licenses and delivering standardized services.
