Ministry of Public Health Conducts Three-Day Cadaver Management Training for Forensic Staff with International Committee of the Red Cross Support
A three-day training on ‘Cadaver Management’ was conducted by the Forensic Medicine Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health for forensic staff.
The training was held at the Directorate of Forensic Medicine with financial support from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and was attended by forensic staff and technical personnel from Kandahar, Paktia, Khost, Nangarhar, Kunar, and Nuristan provinces.
The aim of the training was to strengthen participants’ professional knowledge and skills in cadaver management, familiarize them with international forensic standards, and provide practical training on the procedures for recording, storing, and transporting cadaver.
The training provided participants with detailed instruction on the principles of cadaver management, methods of identification and registration, emergency response management, preparation of forensic documentation, and practical exercises.
