The meeting was held under the Minister of Public Health, His Excellency٫ Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, with the participation of the deputy ministers and central directors of the ministry. Comprehensive discussions focused on ensuring transparency and the timely resolution of procurement processes, controlling prices, preventing low-quality medicines, prioritizing domestic products, and improving marketing strategies.

The Minister of Public Health, provided key recommendations to enhance coordination between directorates, prioritize and promote domestic pharmaceutical products, prevent substandard medicines, ensure transparency in procurement processes, and expedite the resolution of affairs. These measures aim to strengthen domestic products, improve transparency, and enhance the quality of health services.

In addition, comprehensive discussions were held on the strict monitoring of prescriptions and thorough comprehensive examination. Decisions were made to prioritize domestic products in medicine procurement, assess the needs of government hospitals and procure necessary supplies and equipment, and strictly prevent the referral of patients from government hospitals to private hospitals.
