Ministry of Public Health Inaugurates New OPD Facility at Boost Hospital in Helmand to Expand Local Healthcare Access

The Ministry of Public Health has inaugurated a new Outpatient Department (OPD) at Boost Provincial Hospital in Helmand, with a 7.7 million Afghanis investment.

Helmand's Director of Public Health, Mawlawi Fazal Ahmad Shafiullah, praised the new department as a significant healthcare milestone for the local population and promised additional facility improvements.

He also emphasized that patients will no longer need to travel long distances for treatment, as a comprehensive healthcare system will now be available at the hospital
