Ministry of Public Health Signs $145,048 Contract with DAWEO Organization to Strengthen and Expand Health Services in Paktia and Bamyan Provinces
The one-year agreement will provide primary healthcare services to residents of Paktia and Bamyan provinces through three drug rehabilitation centers in Bamyan and two healthcare centers in Paktia.
This project will create employment opportunities for approximately 14 people.
Officials of the Ministry of Public Health said the agreement was signed to improve the quality of healthcare services, increase access, and reduce public health challenges. Once implemented, it will provide primary healthcare services to 4,120 residents of Paktia and Bamyan provinces and create healthcare job opportunities for 14 people.

(DAWEO) organization also expressed confidence that the project will be implemented over the course of one year in accordance with all established standards, while prioritizing the healthcare needs of the population.
Notably, the Ministry of Public Health is committed to continuing its cooperation with national and international organizations to further improve healthcare services across all provinces and provide better facilities to the public.
