Ministry of Public Health Strengthens Coordination with GPEI and International Organizations

The Ministry of Public Health held a meeting with representatives of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) and international organizations to assess services delivered during the past quarter and to strengthen coordination.

The meeting, attended by the Deputy Minister for Health Services of the MoPH, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, the Director of International Relations and Aid Coordination, Mawlawi Mohammad Dawood Mansoori, several other officials, and representatives of GPEI and international organizations, focused on strengthening coordination, expanding quality health services, addressing challenges, and reviewing activities implemented during the past quarter.

The Deputy Minister for Health Services stressed the importance of development projects and system strengthening alongside emergency interventions to ensure the sustainability of the health system, noting that efficient resource management and effective implementation are essential to improve services.
