MoPH and United Nations Development Programme Discuss Support for HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria Programs
In his official office, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health, met with representatives of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Both sides discussed the activities of staff involved in the HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria programs, as well as the provision of support for the supply of medicines for these diseases
The Deputy Minister emphasized the important role of UNDP cooperation in strengthening the country’s health system, particularly the HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria programs, and stressed the need to continue supporting health workers and ensuring the provision of essential medicines for patients.
The representatives of UNDP assured continued cooperation in the provision of medicines and support for the HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria programs, and expressed their commitment to strengthening health services.
