MoPH and WHO Train 15 Medical Technologists in Laboratory Diagnosis of Chickenpox and Viral Hepatitis

The Central Laboratories Department of the Ministry of Public Health conducted a three-day training course on Laboratory Diagnosis of Chickenpox and Viral Hepatitis for 15 medical technologists from regional laboratories in five provinces, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Dr. Mohammad Qasim Sahebi, Director of Diagnostic Services of the MoPH, stated that the training was delivered by experienced and qualified instructors through theoretical and practical sessions to strengthen the professional capacities of medical technologists. The training aimed to enable participants to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in their respective workplaces and share them with their colleagues.

He further noted that similar training courses would be organized for other medical technologists in the future and urged participants to make effective use of this opportunity.
