MoPH EPR Delegation Meets Nuristan Governor to Strengthen Flood Response
During their visit to Nuristan Province, a delegation appointed by the Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) Committee met with the provincial governor, Alhaj Zain-ul-Abidin Abid.
The meeting focused on the damage caused by the recent floods, the health condition of the injured, ensuring they receive appropriate medical treatment, and addressing their healthcare needs.
The Ministry of Public Health delegation stated that the ministry has taken the necessary measures to provide healthcare services to flood-affected communities and the injured, and will continue its efforts to address their healthcare needs.
The Governor of Nuristan thanked the leadership and officials of the Ministry of Public Health for their support and attention to healthcare services and called for further efforts to strengthen healthcare services in the province.
The Ministry of Public Health delegation assured that it would continue its efforts to address the health needs of the people of Nuristan, provide medical care to the injured, and deliver essential healthcare services to flood-affected communities.
