MoPH Holds Meeting on Digitalization of Government Hospitals

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the IEA, with relevant officials to discuss the digitalization of government hospitals.

During the meeting, held at the Ministry of Public Health, discussions focused on the ongoing process of digitalizing government hospitals, approaches to digitizing relevant departments, and the existing capacities and requirements for the collection, recording, and management of health information.

The Minister of Public Health stated that the digitalization of hospitals would promote greater transparency in patient registration, the secure management of health information, the management of medicines and medical equipment, financial and administrative affairs, revenue and expenditure, and the delivery of healthcare services.

The Minister emphasized that the digitalization of hospitals is a key component of modernizing the healthcare system and that its implementation would streamline patient service delivery, improve the efficiency of healthcare workers’ duties, and significantly enhance the quality of healthcare services. He instructed the relevant authorities to take all necessary measures to ensure the effective and comprehensive implementation of the process.
