MoPH Signs MoU with GSRO to Provide Mental Health Services in Herat

The Ministry of Public Health has signed an eleven-month Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth $14,700 with Green Social Research Organization (GSRO) to provide mental health services to returnees and vulnerable people in Herat Province.

The MoU was signed for an eleven-month period to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services and help address the health needs of the local population. Under the MoU, two health facilities in Districts 11 and 12 will provide healthcare services to 500 residents and create job opportunities for 11 people in the health sector.

Meanwhile, representatives of GSRO reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the project in accordance with all established standards over the eleven-month period, while giving particular attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the local communities.
