National Tuberculosis Control Program Conducts Joint Monitoring of Health Centers in Herat

The Ministry of Public Health’s National Tuberculosis Control Program, along with representatives from the AADA office, the World Health Organization, and the Herat Tuberculosis Control and Prevention Directorate, conducted inspections of several health centers, including the Herat Regional Hospital.

During this monitoring, the Tuberculosis Department of Herat Regional Hospital, the regional reference laboratory, six health centers for returning citizens, and the services of Guzari District Hospital were inspected. Identified issues were shared with relevant officials for resolution.

Additionally, recommendations were provided to health center officials to ensure quality health services for returning citizens, and to take necessary measures to address existing problems.
