"New 20-Bed Measles Treatment Unit Opens at Queen Soraya Hospital in Helmand with MSF Support"

With the financial support of the international organization MSF, a new 20-bed unit dedicated to the treatment of measles has been established and is now fully operational at the 50-bed Queen Soraya Hospital in Helmand province

At the ceremony held to inaugurate the new unit, the Director of Public Health in Helmand, Mawlawi Fazli Ahmad Shafiullah, emphasized that the launch of this unit will play a pivotal role in controlling the spread of measles and will offer crucial medical services to patients requiring treatment.
