Ministry of Public Health Delegation and UNICEF Representatives Conduct Comprehensive Inspections of Hospitals and Health Facilities in Laghman Province
During the inspections, conducted by the MoPH's designated delegation and several officials from the Laghman Provincial Public Health Directorate, the team assessed the delivery of healthcare services, vaccination services, the performance of healthcare workers, the quality of services, the status of available facilities, maternal and child health services, nutrition and emergency care services, laboratories, pharmacies, and health information recording and reporting systems.
The purpose of these inspections is to enhance the quality of healthcare services, ensure the provision of standard and timely services to citizens, and promote transparency in the health sector. The inspections also aim to identify and address existing challenges, improve service quality, ensure appropriate treatment for patients, and meet the healthcare needs of the community.
During the inspections, health facility officials and staff shared their challenges, needs, and recommendations with the delegation, and they were assured of necessary support and cooperation to address the issues raised.
