The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provided the Baghlan Provincial Public Health Directorate with approximately $500,000 worth of medical equipment, medicines, and diagnostic supplies.

Saddam Hussain Arab, Head Doctor of Baghlan Provincial Hospital, said that the assistance includes 40 types of medical equipment and medicines, along with advanced diagnostic equipment. He added that the provision of these medical supplies and medicines would significantly help address shortages of essential medical equipment and medicines at healthcare facilities across Baghlan province, enabling them to deliver quality and more timely healthcare services to patients.
