MoPH Holds Final Workshop to Review and Finalize the New Health Services Delivery Document
The Ministry of Public Health’s Directorate General of Planning and Policy conducted the final workshop to review and finalize the new Health Services Document.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ghiyasi, Deputy Minister for Health Development and Policy; Dr. Sayed Rasool Mangal, Director General of Planning and Policy; along with several central directors, advisers, and technical experts from the Ministry.
The deputy minister for Health Development and Policy emphasized that providing standardized, high quality health services is one of the MoPH’s core responsibilities. He noted that the purpose of this process is not simply to develop a new document, but to establish a comprehensive, practical, implementable, and sustainable framework for health service delivery that will improve service quality, promote equitable access, and strengthen an effective referral system.
The Director General of Planning and Policy emphasized the importance of the document, noting that it has been developed based on the country’s current population, healthcare needs, and available resources. He added that the document will help ensure the delivery of standardized, well-organized, and equitable health services across all parts of the country, tailored to the needs of the population.
Furthermore, specialists participated in group discussions during the workshop, sharing their views and recommendations to further improve and standardize the document. Their professional input will contribute to finalizing a comprehensive and standardized Health Services Delivery Document that is aligned with the country’s current healthcare needs.
