MoPH Signs One-Year MoU with CHA to Provide Preventive Nutrition Services in Zabul

The Ministry of Public Health has signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), valued at AFN 34,850,895, with the Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) to provide preventive nutrition services in Zabul Province.

The MoU was signed for a period of one year with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare services, expanding access, and addressing the health needs of the population. Under the MoU, 168,573 residents of the province will benefit from healthcare services delivered through 47 health facilities and 348 health posts, while employment opportunities will be created for six individuals in the health sector.

Meanwhile, representatives of CHA assured that the project would be implemented over the one-year period in accordance with all established standards, with particular attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the local population.
