Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration Holds Online Meeting with Provincial Public Health Officials

A public awareness session on drug prevention was held for students of Bayazid Rokhan University by the Drug Prevention Team of the 450-Bed Jangalak Drug Treatment Hospital.

The main objective of the session was to raise students’ awareness of the risks and harmful consequences of drug use and to promote effective measures to prevent its spread.

Dr. Abdul Qadir Danishmal, head of the 450-Bed Jangalak Drug Treatment Hospital, provided information on the harmful and destructive effects of drug use and emphasized the importance of raising young people’s awareness in promoting a healthy lifestyle. He stressed that addiction is not merely an individual problem but a serious social and public health issue that affects families and communities.

Such awareness sessions can play an important role in reducing young people’s vulnerability to drug use and promoting a healthy and well-informed society.
