During his official visit to Belarus, IEA Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali visited the Belmedpreparaty Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant
Accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Health of Belarus, the delegation received briefings on pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, medicine quality assurance standards, and the exchange of technical expertise in pharmaceutical production. Discussions were also held on expanding cooperation between the two countries in the pharmaceutical sector.
The Minister of Public Health stated that the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan places particular emphasis on strengthening cooperation with reputable and professional institutions to improve the quality of medicines, meet the country’s pharmaceutical needs, and promote domestic pharmaceutical production.
The Deputy Minister of Health of Belarus and officials of the pharmaceutical manufacturing plant also reaffirmed their commitment to working with Afghanistan in pharmaceutical production, quality control, and the exchange of technical expertise.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to continued cooperation and further collaboration in pharmaceutical production, quality assurance, technical knowledge exchange, and the broader pharmaceutical sector.
