Minister of Public Health Participates in third National and International Exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa
The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, graced the inauguration of the third National and International Exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa with his esteemed presence.
Alongside prominent dignitaries, including the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, and a host of high-ranking officials from the Islamic Emirate, His Excellency Jalali engaged with a diverse audience of business leaders and stakeholders.
In his keynote address, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali lauded the significant advancements in the private sector, expressing his profound satisfaction with the domestic production of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, which previously had to be imported. He remarked, “It is immensely gratifying to witness that a substantial portion of medical supplies, once sourced from foreign markets, are now being manufactured locally, marking a pivotal moment for our nation’s self-reliance.”
The Minister further elaborated on the efforts made to enhance accessibility and infrastructure within the healthcare sector, urging entrepreneurs to channel their investments into health-related industries.
Additionally, he advised healthcare manufacturing firms to prioritize both the enhancement of product quality and the reduction of costs, underscoring the necessity of making healthcare more affordable without compromising standards.
It is noteworthy that the third National and International Exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa showcased a wide array of health-related devices and medicines, alongside other domestically produced goods.
