New 26 Million AFN Healthcare Center Opens in Helmand, Boosting Medical Service

The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, inaugurated a newly built healthcare center in Sangeen District, Helmand Province. Constructed at a cost of 26 million Afghanis, the facility aims to improve medical services for local residents.

A special ceremony marked the occasion, attended by His highness minister Jalali, Helmand Governor Al-Hajj Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Muslim, Helmand’s Director of Public Health Mawlawi Shafiullah, and local community members. Their presence underscored the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure.

His highness minister Jalali described the center as a significant step in expanding healthcare access, ensuring residents receive quality medical services close to home.

He reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to developing a modern healthcare system, prioritizing accessibility and quality to meet public needs.

The Ministry of Public Health continues to expand medical services and improve healthcare facilities, working toward a sustainable and high-standard system.
