Inspection Conducted on Wholesale Food Establishments and Private Healthcare Facilities in Herat

A regulatory inspection was conducted by the supervisory team of the Herat Directorate of Public Health across the Ninth District, Chishti Sharif, and Obe Districts. As a result, 13 expired food products were identified and confiscated in the Ninth District, while 20 expired and unlicensed pharmaceutical items were seized from several pharmacies in Chishti Sharif and Obe. These items were subsequently transported to a designated disposal site for safe elimination.

In addition, the supervisory team provided comprehensive health and safety directives to shopkeepers and pharmacy personnel, ensuring adherence to public health standards.
