Ministry of Public Health Conducts Strategic Oversight Mission to Enhance Healthcare Standards in Baghlan Province

In a decisive move to strengthen oversight and boost healthcare service standards, the Ministry of Public Health’s Internal Audit Director conducted a targeted evaluation mission across key health facilities in Baghlan province.

As part of his mission, Mr. Haqqani met with Governor Mawlawi Abdul Rahman, with whom he discussed the province’s public health situation.

The governor welcomed the visit, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing evaluation, and pledged full support for the initiative.

The Internal Audit Director, joined by a technical delegation and Dr. Abdul Qahar, the Provincial Health Director, carried out comprehensive assessments of the 200-bed Provincial Hospital, the Addiction Treatment Center, and the District Hospital. The team received on-site briefings from facility managers and provided actionable feedback to strengthen staff accountability and performance.

The delegation also inspected the Immunization Department, issuing further recommendations aimed at improving operational efficiency and reinforcing staff commitment to their responsibilities.
