A delegation from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health has officially inaugurated a new infrastructure project in Jawzjan province, valued at 16.4 million Afghanis.

Funded entirely by the private sector, the initiative was approved under a public-private partnership framework, following a directive from the Prime Minister’s Office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, issued under decree No. 4878 on 27/9/1445 (Islamic calendar). The project, located at the Afghan-Turk Children's Treatment Hospital in Jawzjan, includes the construction of a cafeteria, waiting rooms, and retail units. Officials say the development is aimed at improving support services for patients and their families. The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Public Health, the provincial governor, Jawzjan’s public health director, the head of the public-private partnership unit, and other local authorities.
