Deputy Minister for Health Services Leads High-Level MoPH Delegation on Official Visit to Turkey

Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health of the IEA, has departed for Turkey on an official visit with a high-ranking delegation.

The delegation includes Deputy Minister of Healthcare Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani; Sheikh Mohammad Tahir Halim, Chief of Staff; Mawlawi Mohammad Dawood Mansoori, Director of International Relations and Aid Coordination; Dr. Sayed Rasool Mangal, Director of Planning and Policy; Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director of Curative Medicine; and other senior officials. The visit aims to gain new health-sector expertise, review Turkish medical and scientific institutions, meet Turkish health and government authorities, and strengthen bilateral cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation will meet public and private-sector representatives to support improvements in Afghanistan’s healthcare system and enhance coordination with Turkey in the health field.
