The Ministry of Public Health has signed a $7,731,126 agreement with MSIA to strengthen and expand healthcare services across multiple provinces of Afghanistan

Ministry of Public Health Signs  $7,731,126  Agreement with MSIA  Organization to Strengthen and Expand Health Services in Kabul, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Herat, Kandahar, Helmand, Samangan, Ghor, Bamyan, Paktia, Khost, and Farah provinces.

The agreement was signed for five years, under which nearly 600,000 residents of the aforementioned provinces will receive healthcare services.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Health said the agreement was signed to improve the quality of healthcare services, increase access, and reduce public health challenges. Once implemented, it will provide primary and specialized healthcare services to nearly 600,000 residents of the aforementioned provinces and create job opportunities for 404 people across various health sectors.

Representatives of MSIA organization expressed confidence that the project will be successfully implemented over a period of five years, in accordance with all established standards, while giving special attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the people.
