In His Official Office, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the IEA, Meets with Officials of the Heart Disease Treatment Project

The meeting was also attended by Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration Affairs; the Director of Finance; the Director General of Curative Medicine; the Director of Procurement; several other officials; and healthcare workers from the Cardiology Department of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health.

During the meeting, the officials of the cardiac project shared their challenges, needs, and proposals with the Minister of Public Health.

The Minister of Public Health listened to their proposals and requests and instructed the relevant departments to promptly assess the needs of the project and take necessary measures to resolve them.

His Excellency Jalali emphasized that the Ministry of Public Health aims to expand and improve heart disease services across Kabul and other provinces to provide greater support in addressing citizens’ health challenges.

During the meeting, it was proposed to form a joint technical working committee to evaluate current challenges and expand P services.

Following the proposal, a joint committee of relevant department representatives was established to advance the expansion of heart disease services.
