Hafiz Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi Leads Delegation in Bangladesh to Boost Pharmaceutical Cooperation

During an official visit to Bangladesh, a technical delegation from the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority of the Ministry of Public Health, led by Hafiz Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi, Director General of Pharmaceutical and Health Products Regulation, held a coordination meeting with representatives of pharmaceutical and health product manufacturing factories.

Discussions were held on the objectives of the visit, the introduction of new facilitation measures for exporting medicines and health products to Afghanistan, the clarification of the drug registration process, and the procedures for issuing proforma invoices.

Hafiz Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi also emphasized the acceleration of the visa issuance process for traders and importers, and encouraged investors in the pharmaceutical industry to invest in Afghanistan, noting that investment opportunities are now more favorable than ever.

Representatives of manufacturing companies also expressed their readiness for cooperation and pledged to provide high-quality products.

At the end of the meeting, the technical delegation listened to the participants’ questions and concerns and assured them that necessary steps would be taken to address the existing challenges and improve cooperation.
