Officials from the 450-bed Jangalak Drug Rehabilitation Hospital, in collaboration with the National Drug Treatment Program of the Ministry of Public Health, held a public awareness campaign on drug prevention for students and teachers at Ali Isar Private High School.

During the session, the social, economic, psychological, and health impacts of drug abuse were comprehensively outlined, and the far-reaching consequences at both individual and community levels were highlighted. The speakers also raised awareness about preventive measures, early identification of drug dependency, and the referral of affected individuals to specialized treatment centres.
