The Health Laws Monitoring Management of Panjsher Public Health Department recently embarked on a comprehensive monitoring initiative targeting pharmacies and examination rooms across Parian and adjoining districts within the province.

During the rigorous monitoring process, officials uncovered a concerning issue: the presence of expired drugs within various establishments. A total of 60 pieces of expired medication were confiscated and promptly dispatched to the department's stockpile for safe disposal, ensuring the removal of potentially harmful substances from circulation.

In addition to the discovery of expired drugs, the monitoring endeavour exposed regulatory non-compliance within the healthcare sector. As a consequence, authorities took decisive action by shuttering a clinic and a dental facility due to their failure to possess the requisite licenses, thereby safeguarding the public from potential risks associated with unauthorized medical practices.

The proactive measures undertaken by the Panjsher Public Health Department underscore its unwavering commitment to upholding health standards and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. Such initiatives serve as a testament to the department's dedication to fostering a healthcare landscape characterized by adherence to regulatory guidelines and the provision of quality medical services to the populace.
