Quarantine Center Project Launched at Islam Qala Border in Herat

At the Islam Qala border in Herat, the foundation stone of a quarantine center was laid in the presence of Dr. Hanifi, Deputy Director of the Herat Public Health Directorate, along with representatives of relevant authorities and partner organizations.

The centre is funded by the World Health Organization (WHO), and once completed, it is expected to strengthen healthcare capacity at the Islam Qala border and significantly improve the control of communicable diseases.
