Six Sub-Health Centers Inaugurated and Commenced Services in Nangarhar
Of these sub-health centers, one has been established in Bila area of Momandara district, one in Hijrat Abad of Behsud district, one in Kama district, one in the Sheikh Misri area of Jalalabad city, and two in Bahar and Tor Ghar of Khogyani district. These centers will provide primary healthcare services to residents of the respective villages and surrounding areas.
During the inauguration ceremony of these health centers, the Director of Public Health in Nangarhar, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, instructed healthcare workers to provide quality services in these remote areas. He stated, “You enjoy strong public trust within the community; preserve that trust and treat patients with kindness and professionalism.
These health centers were constructed with financial support from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF). They will provide OPD, maternal and child health, immunization, nutrition, and mental health services to residents of the respective areas.
