Standard Maternal and Child Health Building Inaugurated at Hesar Shahi Comprehensive Health Center in Rodat District, Nangarhar

The building was constructed at the Hesar Shahi Comprehensive Health Center in Rodat District at a cost of USD194,000 over a period of one year, through the efforts of the Ministry of Public Health, with financial support from the Government of Malaysia and implemented by Mercy Malaysia. The facility comprises eight rooms, four bathrooms, a standard delivery room, a solar power system, and other essential facilities.

Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, Director of Public Health of Nangarhar, expressed his appreciation for the support and cooperation of the Government of Malaysia and Mercy Malaysia. He said that the construction of the facility would help reduce existing gaps in maternal and child health services and enable local residents to access quality, standardized healthcare services.
