The assistance was provided by the Aga Khan Foundation, with financial support from the Government of Canada, in response to the urgent medical needs following the recent earthquake in Samangan province. The consignment was officially handed over to Shaheed Wakilzadah Provincial Hospital.

Mawlawi Lutfullah Habibi, Director of Public Health for Samangan province, expressed sincere appreciation for the contribution and emphasized the importance of continued interdepartmental cooperation to address the ongoing healthcare needs of earthquake-affected communities.
