30 Medical Technologists Trained in Four-Day Bacteriology Program

The first four-day training course, titled ‘Bacteriology and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) was organized by the Central Laboratories Department of the Diagnostic Services Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Dr. Awal Khan Shafaq, Director of Diagnostic Services at the Ministry of Public Health, delivered a comprehensive speech on the training and encouraged the participants to take an active part in it.

In addition, Dr. Masoud Dilsoz, Head of the Central Laboratories, stated that this training was conducted in both practical and theoretical formats by professional and experienced instructors, to enhance the capacity of medical technologists from 28 provinces, enabling them to apply the knowledge gained in their respective fields. Dr. Dilsoz added that similar training sessions are planned for medical technologists in the future, and encouraged the participants to make the most of this opportunity.
