Afghanistan and Japan Strengthen Ties to Boost Healthcare Services

The Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Public Health, Mullah Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, in his office, met with Japan's Chargé d'Affaires to Afghanistan, Mr. Mikio Izawa. They talked about working together to improve healthcare services.

The deputy minister thanked Japan for helping Afghanistan’s health sector. He asked for more support to make hospitals, clinics, and medical services stronger.

Japan’s Chargé d’Affaires said he was happy with the cooperation in healthcare. He promised that Japan would continue to support Afghanistan’s health system.
