In Zabul, Paktika, and Jawzjan provinces, comprehensive inspections carried out by the Departments of Food and Medicine led to the identification and confiscation of 97 expired and substandard food items and pharmaceutical products.

These items were subsequently transported to designated sites for proper disposal, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
