Deputy Minister of Public Health Visits Naeb Aminullah Khan 300-Bed Hospital in Logar
Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services of the MoPH, along with his delegation, visited the Naeb Aminullah Khan 300-bed Hospital in Logar Province to assess the healthcare services being provided at the hospital.
The visit aimed to assess the health situation in Logar Province, support the strengthening of healthcare services, address existing challenges, relocate the inpatient department (IPD) from the provincial hospital to Naeb Aminullah Khan Hospital, and evaluate the hospital’s capacity.
Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani held a meeting with the Director of Public Health in Logar, Dr. Mohammad Zarak Zeerk, and other relevant officials, during which several key decisions were made.
During the meeting, it was decided that after Eid-ul-Fitr, the emergency and inpatient (IPD) services of the provincial hospital will be transferred to the Naeb Aminullah Khan 300-bed Hospital.
It was also agreed that both the provincial hospital and Naeb Aminullah Khan Hospital will establish and implement a coordinated patient referral system, while the implementing organization is required to make full preparations by the third day of Eid to make functional 100 beds and provide the related services.
The Deputy Minister also praised the efforts of the Logar Public Health Directorate in improving and strengthening the province’s health system and assured full cooperation in addressing existing challenges.
Notably, the Naeb Aminullah Khan 300-bed Hospital will soon make its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) functional, serving emergency patients from Logar and neighboring provinces.
