Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqi, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration Affairs of the Ministry of Public Health, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the renovation and construction works of Al-Shifa Hospital in Kabul.

The Deputy Minister described the renovation and reconstruction of Al-Shifa Hospital as one of the country’s key priorities and instructed the relevant officials to expedite the completion of the renovation works and ensure that all required standards are observed during construction and refurbishment activities.

Notably, the Ministry of Public Health has stepped up efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in the country’s healthcare system, with Al-Shifa Hospital serving as a key example of these initiatives. With the start of services at the hospital, the public will be able to access a wide range of specialized and high-quality healthcare services within the country.
