A drug prevention and public awareness program was organized for students and academic staff of Sharq University

The program was organized by the awareness and drug treatment officials of the 450-bed Jangalak Drug Rehabilitation Hospital under the National Drug Treatment Program Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health. Participants received information on drug prevention, the role of youth in building a healthy future, the causes and consequences of addiction, and the role of families and communities in preventing drug use.

Meanwhile, the university officials and faculty members welcomed the organization of such programs and considered them effective in preventing drug use.
