Expired Medicines, One Ton of Food Items Seized in Uruzgan’s Khas Uruzgan District

In Khas Uruzgan District of Uruzgan Province, 37 types of expired and unauthorized medicines, along with one ton of expired food items, were collected.

Officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Department of Uruzgan Public Health Directorate conducted inspections of healthcare facilities, wholesale and retail food shops, and hotels in Khas Uruzgan District of the province. As a result, 37 items of expired and unauthorized medicines and medical equipment, along with 85 types of expired food items weighing one ton, were collected and transferred to a designated site for disposal.
