Following inspections of pharmacies and food retail outlets in Farah Province, officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Provincial Public Health Directorate collected more than 600 kilograms of expired medicines and food products and transferred them to a designated site for destruction.

Additionally, four pharmacies were shut down due to violations of public health regulations.
