Farah Public Health Directorate Conducts Inspections of Private Health Facilities and Food Establishments in Farah Province
During the past week, officials of the Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Farah Public Health Directorate conducted inspections of several private health facilities and food establishments in the province.
These inspections covered 17 pharmacies, 2 wholesale drug suppliers, 1 clinic, 9 health centers, 1 laboratory, 1 food establishment, 2 ice cream shops, 1 pharmaceutical agency, and 10 bakeries.
As a result, three pharmacies were closed, 230 kilograms of expired and substandard medicines were confiscated, and the relevant authorities were given necessary instructions to ensure environmental and food safety standards.
