Health officials conducted inspections of pharmacies, clinics, laboratories, and food stores in Laghman, Khost, Kunar, and Daikundi provinces

As a result, 85 kilograms of unauthorized medicines were seized in Laghman. In Khost, five pharmacies and five laboratories were closed for lacking legal documentation, and 35 types of unlicensed medicines were collected. In Kunar, 393 kilograms of food products and 320 kilograms of non-alcoholic beverages were confiscated and sent for disposal.

In Daikundi, six clinics were shut down due to the absence of qualified staff, and 50 types of medicines weighing one ton were collected and destroyed within a week under official supervision.
