The Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, hosted a meeting at the Ministry’s office with Dr Tajuddin Avila, the Director General of UNICEF for Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation.

The session, which was attended by a number of provincial directors, was centered around a thorough evaluation of the services provided by implementing organizations. Key topics included the enhancement of healthcare service quality, the timely delivery of medications to hospitals, and the overall strengthening of Afghanistan's healthcare infrastructure.

His Excellency Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali emphasized the critical importance of rigorous, standardized monitoring, comprehensive evaluations, and absolute transparency in the services delivered by implementing agencies across the provinces. Additionally, he urged UNICEF officials to prioritize the timely dispatch of essential medical supplies and equipment to hospitals, while intensifying efforts to improve the quality of healthcare services available to the Afghan population.
